ATWAP GOALS

Short-term goals (1-3 years)

  1. Improve industry standards: Establish and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that all table water produced by ATWAP members meets or exceeds national and international standards.
  2. Increase membership: Expand ATWAP's membership base to include more table water producers across Nigeria, promoting unity and a stronger voice for the industry.
  3. Enhance advocacy: Strengthen ATWAP's advocacy efforts to influence policy and regulatory decisions that impact the table water industry.
  4. Develop training programs: Create and implement training programs for ATWAP members to improve their technical skills, business management, and regulatory compliance.

Medium-term goals (4-7 years)

  1. Promote sustainability: Encourage ATWAP members to adopt environmentally friendly practices, reduce waste, and conserve water resources.
  2. Improve access to finance: Facilitate access to financing options for ATWAP members to support business growth, expansion, and modernization.
  3. Enhance industry research and development: Collaborate with research institutions, universities, and other stakeholders to promote innovation, research, and development in the table water industry.
  4. Develop a national table water policy: Work with government agencies, stakeholders, and other industry associations to develop a comprehensive national policy for the table water industry.

Long-term goals (8-15 years)

  1. Achieve universal access to safe drinking water: Contribute to the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, ensuring that all Nigerians have access to safe, clean, and affordable drinking water.
  2. Establish ATWAP as a leading industry authority: Position ATWAP as a trusted and respected authority on table water production, quality, and safety in Nigeria and beyond.
  3. Foster regional and international collaboration: Develop partnerships with regional and international organizations to promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and industry development.
  4. Develop a robust industry monitoring and evaluation system: Establish a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system to track industry performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform policy decisions.
